Good gamepad for mobile gamers

For the mobile sector in terms of smartphone and Tabletpads Mad Catz has also already boast one or the other product, one of them is the wireless Bluetooth gamepad CTRL and this device can I let my mind up on little things well worth seeing.

Thanks to the Bluetooth connection, the gamepad is recognized immediately and works with compatible games like butter !!! At the first coupling and the appropriate use has a very well-made and sturdy acting gamepad in hand, the ergonomics seems perfect. The arrangement of the corresponding buttons, the directional pad and the two sticks is very intuitive. Striking noisy but top shape you can then fight through the games and also control the tablet per stick, so you could replace the pure touch control. On Mac, you can replace with the gamepad even the mouse, this gamepad has three setting modes. Downer of the story is that mobile devices do not consistently work with all of the built-in gamepad Bluetooth technology, so you're trying to pair the iPad and older iPhones vain. In my case, iPad 2 and iPhone 4, it should therefore be considered before buying in all cases.

In the mode for the Mac for the gamepad is working better so, because shooters do at the keyboard fun but with a gamepad brings a game but also so again very different action with, especially as the gamepad on Macbook well as already mentioned, as use mouse and can adjust accordingly on the system setting. An app is available from Mad Catz to also free in the App Store in order to play solid profiles and controlling the gamepad to set, or create entirely new and individual button configurations. This app features Mad Catz on all devices, but it makes sense only on the Mac, as it primarily promotes products on mobile devices and provides no benefit. Here I would also want ways to configure fixed combinations for games that support the game pad is not directly, as this is possible via the Mac App. Here you can namely games that do not support HID pad, yet make them compatible by individual keys configuration. Thus helpful in games that require keyboard input, but you want to play with the gamepad.

What you should mention is compatibility with Amazon Fire TV and their own box Mad Catz Mojo who is able thus to stream mobile games on the television. The gamepad is of course certainly produces for Mojo, but again, compatibility with Apple TV would eventually have been interesting to make multiplayer possible etc.

All in all, the conclusion looks like this:

- 3 setting modes distinguish between desktop mode, mouse and Bluetooth Tablet control
- Compatible with Android and Mac (in my case)
- Travel clip for attaching Andoid smartphones

- Unfortunately not iOS integration of iPad and iPhone
- Mad Catz app is only useful on your Mac, on mobile devices, they unfortunately brings no benefit, except advertising
- A bit noisy in operation

For a crisp price you get a great Mad Catz Gamepad and when you're relying on Android all great. A trip to clip a smartphone on CTRL must be screwed securely great and when Mad Catz also makes iOS still fully compatible, this would certainly be a good train !!
For my needs on Android Tab and the iMac, the gamepad is perfect, so I Bitches not around at the little things, but not recommend this pad !!
