This is a first prize helmet, it does the job we ask him to hold the ears and record sound!
Quality side is plastic, it remains fragile and it is not foldable so be careful in the bag.
For holding the ears, is "laid" on the ear, so for very long sessions of several hours can feel pain, it remains for occasional use. For sound, it is transcribed correctly, it is clear and audible, then we will not listen to hours of music in flac with, it is useless.
For the microphone, the sound is recorded normally when I have to push the sound recording to the maximum in order to hear the voice (but it is the setting for dacquisition / editing software). The microphone is adjustable with the end of the flexible microphone arm.
The device is recognized carefree Windows 8.1 64-bit on the jacks and microphone, I finally told me that USB would have been more convenient.
I tried to mess with the Windows sound reduction options without finding real differences.
In conclusion:
The pros:
- This matches my use for a floor price
- Adjustable microphone
The -:
- The plastic quality, if you are careful there are no problems
- No folding, but again if you are careful when storing, no problems
- The position of the ears is a disadvantage for very long sessions (you must invest in more comfortable)
In short good product, I am satisfied, although I plan to invest in a slightly more medium range version for a more regular basis ('ll do it only for the comfort of use).
