It is very difficult to find a headset that offers full compatibility to the PS4 and no three-figure sum costs. That's why I decided after a long search to give this relatively new headset from Turtle Beach a chance. The headset is made entirely of plastic and comes in a yet relatively attractive packaging that conveys an impression of high quality. The commissioning of the PS4 is simple. As stated in the article description one has to simply plug the headset into a USB port and it already is recognized as such by the console. Then perform only the relevant settings relating to output the sound and the volume of that same and the own mics. The headset can be adjusted in size by means of detents and the microphone can be folded up and is flexible. Thus should be possible for each head to find the right setting. The ear cushions are covered with fabric and offer my ears enough space. People with very big ears could this well may perceive as too small. With me no head or earache has set itself even after extensive testing, which definitely speaks for comfort. The microphone I can even difficult to assess, however, my chat partner could understand me easily and assessed the sound as well. Now we come to the most important to the sound of the headset. The sound is stero-typical good, but not outstanding. The overall conclusion is that the sound is more bass-heavy, even if you, is the thumbwheel on the amplifier, with which this can be controlled to the minimum. I feel at a gaming headset but not as negative as video games (and this particular shooter) mostly benefit from this bass used. The location of the enemy works with the headset definitely better than at my flat with no additional sound system. The cable is about 3 meters long and then to come nor the cable jack, you just plug into the amplifier. Thus, this combination should be long enough for most living room (or playroom). The wiring itself I do not feel as negatively as most wireless headsets are very sensitive to noise and I'm more of a friend of cables therefore.
For sound processing and I would give 4 stars, but because of the price compared to other headsets that work perfectly on the PS4, my product is worth 5 stars. Maybe I could help you with my review in your purchasing decision.
