To Delivery:
The plant was ordered on Friday and delivered on Wednesday morning by freight carrier. The package was supported me in the 1st floor.
I ordered through Amazon.
The first impression:
The color in gray and black seemed to me noble and not cheap. The speakers are 3 pieces (base metal, Plastikaufstecker and the actual speaker. The installation was very simple. Screw the lower plastic tube with the sockets, placed the speakers (black) and all moored with 5 screws (3 down, 2 from behind the Connect). The speakers are the same (Rear and Front) and were not in color from the terminals. Since this was so, it had to be no matter what cable in which speakers come.
The cables were long enough (front 4 m, 6 m Rear, Center and Subwoofer well, stand by me but near the player)
The installation of the system was also simple. Wifi stick for the rear speakers behind inserted in the device. Receiver for rear speakers connected to the power, the cable plugged according to the colors and then the cable mounted in the raceway and ready. Too bad I found that no "normal" speakers (terminal connections) are available, so I could not use (of course the plug does not fit because of) the existing conduits with me for the front speakers.
The first start-up:
After I connected everything (HDMI Out connection to ARC my Samsung 46F8090 TV, HDMI 1 in: ET9000 Xtrend satellite receiver, HDMI 2 in: Apple TV 3) I switched on the device.
A menu appears for the language, then one sees a WLAN (integrated is !!!) or LAN, performs a test pit in one hand still has to make the distance to the seat and off you go.
My TV has all connected devices detected (including the LG, the satellite receiver and the Apple TV 3) therefore I can if I want to operate the device with the Samsung remote control in the basic functions. I would recommend, however, at the large number of devices, if you do not have LG television, a remote control for all (z. B. Logitech Harmony Touch).
The Image:
Is no worse than when I run the device directly to the HDMI of the TV well in both Blu-ray, DVD and watch TV in SD and HD, definitely. The HDMI-In connections take the image and the sound through the system to the TV. My TV has no UHD but "only" Full HD (1080p). That was good enough especially is still virtually no 4k material available.
The Sound:
The sound 5.1 on the system is very good. The subwoofer comes to advantage and just the 9.1 sound is a lot of joy. No comparison to my previous old 5.1 system. Certainly not with expensive high quality system of competitors (such. As devils or Bose) comparable. But for the price of 583 Euro? What do I want more? The comparable product from Samsung (the 7750WT) costs 1100 Euros in any for me discernible difference in performance, that was me then but too much (although I have a Samsung TV).
I had no problems with the rear speakers. This was found by the system immediately, extra configuration required and without integrated properly. Super Cable saved from front to back, but not from the device to the two rear speakers (so do not get confused, the rear speakers are not wireless, but the rear to connect to the controller, however, goes well beyond the couch and not visible).
Music CD was also good to hear. Highlight is really when you hear action-packed scenes and the surround sound is for me anyway super.
Am not a professional audio and only normal users, but the sound and the image, etc., are for me and my household more than sufficient and good. I do not regret the purchase.
Bluetooth: Also goes from the phone to the system. I can pair my iPhone 5s without any problems and the music played from. Should therefore not be a problem with other phones.
To use / Menu:
Is getting used to for me, when Samsung's usual (from the TV here), but all the icons and menu items are well explained and clearly understandable. Wi-Fi works well (integrated), and I could save myself the switch for the LAN cable so. Amazon Prime Instant Video I have not found in the player from LG, not tragic for me, as I look over my Samsung TV the. Everyone can find their way with the menu well and quickly. The remote is clear and concise and to directly select the inputs on the player and the audio effects directly / switch.
Super liked me that the CDs are just inserted and no charge is present, which opens (slot-in drive). The unit is quiet and a fan I hear at a distance of 3.5 m (seat position) is not, or barely perceptible).
Conclusion:
For normal users a super home theater system that makes just in movies from DVD or Blu-ray super picture and sound. I do not regret the purchase and am glad that I was able to save money compared to Samsung. The plant looks classy and uncluttered, is easy to install (even for absolute amateur) and makes more ago, when my previous motley crew of different devices. For the price you can not go wrong here in my opinion. Who a 4k (UHD) has TV, can let the pictures "scaling up".
