First of all I would like to begin by saying that I think the basic idea of the book well. The world is built wise, the characters are original and the plot is nothing new, but just typical fantasy.
Leidert fails this book fully in the implementation. The author is not able to divide the material reasonable. After a good start he starts to execute completely unimportant points endless. This carries over to short in the end where the pace suddenly attracts and one gets the impression that he has approached a page limit and wanted to go press the rest of the story yet. Overall, the book for its size has virtually no major action. He had a good lecturer and halving the number of pages done very well. The extra pages were filled completely unnecessarily with detailed descriptions of various forms of violence that contribute to keinste way to act. Likewise, some places are not well thought out and are adjacent to logic errors.
Also a lack in pressure, the very bother me, let me point: the distance of the text to the middle of the book is so small that one has bothered to read the surrounding words.
In summary, the story would be very promising, but was so poorly executed that I can not recommend the book. The numerous sequels I will not read. I can recommend, however, the film adaptation of the book, in which most of these defects do not occur.
