Basically, the device also does what one expects this. All three smartphones of our budget are quickly loaded (no difference to the original charger to notice), especially a Kindle Fire loads as fast as with the relatively expensive power charger from Amazon (which is offered specifically for the Kindle Fire), which is very pleasing, and an iPad can be just as quickly load. Until then, everything is fine.
The first disappointment occurred when I tried to load my ASUS Transformer TF300T - because even does not do anything, no matter what I socket on the charger used (there are there in each 3 x 3 x 1.2A and 2.4A USB outputs). During the above-mentioned Kindle Fire was prima charge at 2.4A output, teamed up on ASUS nothing. Really nothing. The solution: the built-in keyboard Akke required part of the Transformers a charging voltage of 15 volts. The supplies this equipment but unfortunately not.
I have the ASUS Transformer built out apart (read: the tablet separated from the keyboard) and lo and behold, the tablet alone (which then also has a load input) can be then but also with this RAVPower unit load. Although relatively slow (about 1 hour per 10% battery power, but that does not matter to me, I leave it mostly anyway overnight charge), but it's at least. The keyboard alone (now without tablet) remains stubborn and insists obviously continue to 15 volts.
Very very unfortunate, because the central idea of being able to let the other individual devices at home with this multi charger (on leisure travel in particular), which is not necessarily on. This of course is not necessarily a flaw of this device that still does what it is supposed to do, namely provide 5 volts, but it's still annoying. Who has no such tablet devices in the Park, about needs, of course, not to worry.
Ultimately it is not the fault of RAVPower device that ASUS Keyboard requires 15 volts Ladespanung and if that had now been the only flaw here, then I would have had it really really hard to forgive a suitable rating. Unfortunately, there is one more unpleasant point at least (rather more) so much bother me, as the lack of function at my ASUS Transformer. And that is the fact that this charger on some devices does a nasty, fiepiges ekeltronisches shredder noise (not necessarily at all, but a relationship of some kind I could not find) during charging.
This is such a restless chirping or so, schllecht to describe, it is not very loud, but up close you can hear it immediately and while it goes more or less during the day in normal ambient noise of an apartment, it is night in a silent Hotelzimmmer with be absolutely certain disturbing to hear. And that's really prohibitive because this device would just get with us primarily this application in order to get to the hotel Travel the connector tide decisively into the handle, but if you at night annoyed by a buzzing noise, then I really know at the moment is not whether we want to try it or not. A real shame.
Actually, I would make no star rating here, because the unit behaves in different sources are not uniform and depending on some users will be totally satisfied here, while others completely dissatisfied. Since helps only to try themselves in the ground. But since I have to give a rating and of course still meets the device's basic function, I give three stars. With four or even five stars, I would not have a good conscience towards those who are then at night in the hotel rooms and curse my review, because they can not sleep, because the device whimpers so annoying to himself ....
Nevertheless, I emphasize, the normal day the buzzing is not very noticeable. But on a nightstand next to the bed (that would be so typical hotel situation) it will definitely be well audible.
