I behersche JAVA, of course a introduction to programming is very simple. But for beginners, the book is a very good guide. The important points to something graphically display are explained in the book, and the developer is freed from pesky basic configurations.

Those who have never programmed with Java, should also perhaps buy a book java umd to learn the basics of programming.

Anyway, Processing is a quick and easy introduction to graphic programming, even the execution speed is good - ok, not a 3D FPS - but who wants that already.

Definitely recommended

Why "only four star"? Because it goes only partly about the basics.
