The Mountain Goats are very productive, but unfortunately inexcusably disregarded by the public band that everyone who is on the emotional, intelligent, melancholic Gitarrenfolkpop, at least should have a plate. Sunset Tree is certainly a good introduction to the distinctive world of Mountain Goats, because this album is perhaps the most accessible album to date. Even if they are safe with bands like Weakerthans or my opinion, The National (the Goats something "folky" are) can be compared, the Goats have developed their own style, which is also marked by the distinctive voice of John Darnielle. Especially fascinating: no one has ever melancholy and happiness - both lyrically and musically - so voices interwoven; a perektes example (my out tip): Hast Thou Considered The Tetrapod?
