For a long time I had the Series 7 799cc and was up on the volume when shaving very satisfied. However, it was time in a new shaving head set and cleaning station to invest. Thus I decided summarily to upgrade to the S 9 9090cc and am excited as quiet and easy is the device compared to the older model. There are no skin irritation but a satisfactory result, you need with this model a little longer. Must mention this that I mitrasiere the complete head area every morning. The shaving head is a little bigger, but adjustable and thereby going well at the places below the nose. I think it's always a matter of getting used to, with a new unit to deal so that everything fits. The cleaning station also does your service and therefore the investment has paid off for me.
Addendum: after some time of use would write plus the following. I am glad that Braun was able to reduce the operating noise by a multiple. Who has a brown 7 Series in use, this should keep still, because in my opinion, the transition with regard to the shave is not worthwhile. My old Dash 7 was apparently still better, only just very loud. The indicator of the battery is a joke when it comes to running out, you have max. Time of 5 minutes and the device makes no peep.
