After studying the manual to understand (a small booklet) can begin to connect already - I thought. The keyboard was not recognized (error message in the BIOS) and since I have forgiven a BIOS password, there was no progress. After some trial and error and many start attempts showed that the USB receiver has a USB plug into the motherboard. I had an additional 4-USB controller installed that is recognized seemingly only after booting from XP.
The mouse did not work only - the plastic strip that protects the battery was torn during removal and a small remnant was still in the mouse ...
The transmission / reception performance is also well during installation on the back of the computer. There were no problems. The included extension cable I did not need.
For keyboard:
The attack is soft padded and covered with short stroke. The letter goes pleasantly from his hand. The additional keys function properly. Some getting used to, I think it is the switch for the additional functions of the F-keys to the right and not as in the notebook left. Schön is the LED on the Caps Lock key (caps lock for capitalization). The change is seen immediately.
Taste is again the all-round top plexiglass edge. This sensitive edge is not noticed in the pictures and do not like me personally.
The keyboard comes after a few minutes in sleep mode, but stores the already pressed keys, but confused by something in writing, if only there is no display and then a "high-speed" appears.
On my keyboard, the zero key on the number block was not working or only very sluggishly. You had to push very hard to get a display. In addition, the attack was "clacking" and not soft like the other keys.
You should try several times Once all keys upon receipt of the sets !!
The Mouse:
Compared to the keyboard, the mouse acts cheaper. It is a simple 2-button model with scroll wheel. The laser works on all surfaces except glass very well. The buttons and the scroll wheel are good to use. The mouse is a little smaller than my old mouse, so here only needs to be a habit.
Once the mouse was not previously recognized. Removing the USB receiver and plug it in again solved the problem.
A huge program must be downloaded to get more of this at Logitech. An accompanying CD would have been as nice, at least for the village-DSLer.
