Good lamp for the leisure sector, but not for off-road / dirt roads

Light
The light consists of an inner really very bright and broad beam and an outer darker light cone. If the lamp illuminates 1-2 meters in front of me the way, the inner cone of light has (ruler rausgeholt) has a diameter of approximately 20 cm. The outer cone of light is incredibly far. He scatters about 160 ° in front of me about 10 mtr. Wide that I find already gigantic. However, the outer cone of light is pretty dark. It seems to me always as if illuminates the way over my head, the full moon and is at the center of this light beam. When I'm in the dark on the road, the light is, however, by combining the bright interior and dark external light so that I do not really know puddles, mud, etc. well. The bright beam of light is simply too small to get an idea of ​​the dark and too diffuse. I run so easily again in puddles or mud in, where I just did not reinlaufen. I see this with the lamp just do not. And does not matter if I have the power-saving circuit, or the light switching on.

Switch
The lamp has a switch, the pressing. Press once = very bright - press again = darker press again = off, etc. It requires all right strength to press the switch. Life / power consumption

Practical use / processing

The tilt can be adjusted via grid to change the headlight range. This works well and I have to even notice that the lamp does not move with me, but itself remains in position while jogging. I would not have expected that.
As an engineer, I myself have already developed plastic housing and brought to the series. The processing of the lamp is quite good and stable. Not too rough and not too delicate.

What I would have still required as an extra
A holder for the bike would be perfect and I would again 10, - drauflegen Euro. So I use it on the bike as a headlamp and the light cone is then just always with the place where I look. That would be better with a holder.
The inner cone of light should be focused in order to even get a bigger brighter field here.

Summary
For 15, - Euro a good headlamp. However, I have to deduct two stars, because I indeed the lamp in the dark and use as they reached me stop only to see, but not see for themselves well. For the inner cone of light is much too small. Therefore, I personally would not buy me this lamp again.
