Lamp is mounted in about 5m height in a corner and set so that it illuminates the surfaces on both sides very well in front of the house.
The assembly and adjustment is very easy as well as the corresponding amount of a ladder.
The only downside is that the mounted on the wall bracket, on which the lamp is mounted, is made of plastic.
I think because of the usual plastic aging in outdoor use under normal weather conditions (sunlight, humidity, cold, ozone, etc.) is not practical and would have liked to here a metal bracket.
In addition, the lamp on the holder is only held snap with a (plastic). Is this after the lamp falls down inevitably.
I will additionally secure.
The power supply is certainly made smart, because the holder incl. The cable can be pre-assembled without a lamp, and then during assembly of the lamp, the electrical connections (automatically) takes place via plug-in connections integrated.
It remains to be seen whether the selected materials for durable to withstand the weather conditions and do not corrode at an early stage.
My claim to an outside lamp is quite high, as the superseded by this lamp old light was from 1965, the support is sufficiently safe still, only the "guts" were after almost 50 years ailing.
Since I have more applications for lamps of this type, I am struggling at present with me, if I can trust this construction and these will also use it.
Because of that disadvantage, and the resulting uncertainty, I can only awarded 3 stars, but I would be happy if I could later corrected my views upwards (number of stars).
