Processing
The machine is properly processed for this price and leaves no cheap impression. In Krups one is naturally tempted to think of a German product. The brand name "Krups" is owned by the global French concert "Groupe SEB" (what another reviewer has mentioned here) and is made the coffee in China.
What do the materials ultimately for a value and how high they are, can not be said so. The well know only the manufacturer. Emotionally, however, it holds no cheap crap in hands.
Function
In fact, it is so, as has also been mentioned here, the chemical smell of the water heater. An experience that I've done in a number of Chinese-built devices. This can be a bit disturbing for sensitive noses. The melange of chemicals and the smell of coffee is not so good.
That is not running the hotplate endless, already under safety aspects is positive. It would be better, however, the coffee would be held on the 30 minute continuously hot rather than heat up really high and then slowly auszudampfen. Unfortunately that did not have a taste for positive influence.
Which brings us to the topic taste. While Kaffeevollautomaten even factors such as the pump pressure are important, this does not apply to conventional filter machine. Here, only hot water is produced, which then flows into the filter. More is not happening. In this respect, the quality of the coffee is the coffee powder used primarily dependent and less of the machine. For cheap coffee is no better coffee by the plus in the product name Krups Pro Aroma Plus.
Overall, makes the machine what to, albeit with some with unpleasant odors. It is well made and is easy to use. The cleaning does not constitute a special challenge. Bottom line I have of the device does not advise, but I could really recommend it either.
