For Skype and Teamspeak but I would not recommend the micro. Ambient sounds are almost non-filtered. If the micro does not close at the mouth, so you can hear rapidly somewhat dull and fan noise from the PC are amplified and reproduced as a continuous noise, even though I've tried to break the link between micro and as far as possible to set up away from the PC. For VoIP you're better off with a cheap clip-on microphone, since this noise, ambient noise filters out etc.. For these purposes, the micro was simply oversized.
