The +
- Lightweight and space, it is a pleasure to walk around with
- Screen size that I find impeccable (10 'is really too small and above it becomes less mobile)
- Look nice black and white
- Pleasant keyboard with good key spacing for easy typing
- Good configuration (memory and processor, which for me is a minimum to avoid over rowing)
It could be better but the price mour is currently rather honorable
- Quick Start (surprising for Windows)
- Touchscreen is a real plus for faster browsing (especially considering the bad Touchpad)
- Strangely I also will put +, having the Windows OS as this allows perfect compatibility with all apps already used on my other PC, and for all who downloaded (it can not be said for a Chromebook) and has an OS that is already known perfectly.
- Full connectivity (3 USB, Ethernet, HDMI, ...)
- Quality / Right Honourable prices
Les -
- Touchpad really bad, super annoying, very imprecise, never does what he is asked (bring a mouse or use the touch screen)
The click buttons are supporting fingers hurt in the long (too hard), it is a shame for an ultra portable because it is supposed to use it
I find this lack of comfort is really critical and silly from ASUS
- Windows 8 and unsuited too heavy (but avoids compatibility issues), but here the problem is not Microsoft rather ASUS (Do not forget that you can easily work in office like Windows 7 by simply using a utility like Start8 that gives the "power" to the Start button, even touch mode I find this tile system Windows 8 draws in a PC as true small it is)
- Little sunlight readable display
- Rotation angle of the screen is too low
- Small extra thickness at the battery
- Heater fast enough (not very pleasant on the lap)
- Battery too low (about 3 hours), fortunately the charger is small and with a very long cable, so you can take it anywhere and connect quite easily.
In conclusion, for all those who want a true small PC (Windows and choosing knowingly) in addition to their installation at home, rather it is a good buy at a budget price.
You can switch to Linux for fans, I think this can significantly boost performance.
Do not expect wonders, resources are limited, autonomy also, it must be limited to a simple up use (word processing, web, etc ...) but I was able to look forward with a lot of other models and there is no better without putting a high price, ASUS is a safe bet, remains the touchpad which never ceases to annoy me, it really spoils its maneuverability.
