Good monitor for a MacBook Pro Retina

The Dell U3011 is already a power, if it is on the desk. Actually, I'm thrilled with the UltraSharp series for years. The U2410 are already of very high quality. Now to the essence of all MacBookPro users: You can operate the device with the full resolution of 2560x1600 pixels on MBP. But one does not need the expensive Apple Dual-Link DVI Adapter but simply takes the already mentioned several times combination of "LogiLink Mini DisplayPort Female to Male DisplayPort Converter" and "Belkin Mini DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort cable". Or stop directly a good Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable (but probably are extremely rare at the moment). Total cost No 20. Does any problem and especially right away! The resolution means you do not get HDMI out, unfortunately, there is at 1920x1200 conclusion. Apparently the limited monitor this (is for sure in the manual that HDMI is no longer possible and my practical test also confirmed this).

And now the surprise bad back for me: The monitor separates the transported over HDMI or DisplayPort audio to 3 jacks, so I was able to run my old Creative 5.1 Surround Sound System with no initial purchase of any decoder also on Mac. Even if I had really not expected. For me, this means a very strong buy recommendation and 5 star.
