Benefits:
++ The mouse feet glide smoothly and precisely on the wooden desk as well as on various mouse pads (especially good on SteelSeries 4HD)
++ Mouse is very good in a big right hand
++ Precise and smooth left / right Maustasen with exactly defined pressure point
++ The laser detects surfaces easily (plain better than the FightMouse Elite) and highly accurate
++ The two thumb buttons are very easy to reach and have precise and smooth pressure points (much better than in the FightMouse Elite)
+ The wheel is a good 4-way scroll wheel: Smooth when scrolling, precise and well-defined pressure points. However, the pressure on the mouse wheel to the left / could / be right down smoother. (Unfortunately, much worse than the FightMouse elite, but still slightly better than the market average)
+ More customizable buttons
+ 3 storable profiles
+ Ansprechenbende optics
+ Very good-feeling materials, but also disadvantages (see below)
+ The driver software sounds an MS in the standard mouse driver. The profiles are stored on a separate software directly into the mouse. (Better than the FightMouse Elite)
Neutral:
o For longer held in the hand in a slightly schwitziges feeling
o The very easily accessible and enjoyable pushable dpi button is not assignable, the poorly accessible mode button does. Conversely, it would be much better resolved.
Negatives:
- No driver support from the manufacturer since 2008
- Clear criticism is the fact that the mouse has not been certified by the manufacturer for Windows 7. According to many reports on the Web, they should run fine under Windows 7, according to a few reports do not. I have tested on Win XP SP3.
For durability of course I can not make any statements.
Legend: +++: best on the market ++: excellent +: good o: standard or with weaknesses -: bad -: very bad ---: KO criterion or total failure)
Conclusion:
The main buttons and the thumb buttons are great as well as the laser and the mouse feet. The 4-way scroll wheel is at least useful and can easily keep up with Logitech and Co..
The slightly sweaty feeling and non-programmable DPI button cloud the picture somewhat.
The lack of software support on the part of the manufacturer is a major weakness.
Compared to FightMouse Elite is much better, some worse, overall, the two FightMouse mice par about.
