The Primitivo Salento is a fine table wine with a beautiful dark color in the glass. He may be dry, but not as dry as many Bordeaux and therefore less problematic for guests who do not like a very dry wine. The alcohol content is with 13% slightly above average. The year 2011 is already well ready to drink. Heavy wines must be stored longer that they reach a certain volume and are then usually not very "lively". This is not so in this uncomplicated wine. But you can also pick up something in the basement (of anticipation is not half the fun?). But tire it is no longer in the bottle.
According to his Italian origin he fits pizza and pasta and is also an alternative to Chianti (who is a little drier in the sum). Also an osso bucco he would taste me, and I then also would prepare to having this wine sauce. A good choice for cheese afterwards (or only with cheese ...) or with breadsticks. Since coming on mood and you will not get rid of the guests!
