The charger is smart, with its 3 Slots 3 batteries can be recharged simultaneously, which is a time saver.
There are several parts to this kit.
* The base load: This is a charging cradle of proper quality that can sleep three batteries simultaneously, the insertion system is simple but as noted another comment, you must be attentive to the upon removal of the battery to avoid problems, in my case I did not feel that this is a big risk of breakages for someone who does things calm way and using both hands, in all so even if it is a consideration I have not encountered any breaks at the contacts.
The base has a mini USB plug to a format that allows any USB type charger and USB cable provided A (the most common) to USB mini B male (also very common) of the power. An LED system on the upper part of the charging cradle located at the back of the battery is an indicator of the level of charge, (While charging / Charge Gone)
* The charging cable: This is a simple USB cable type A (the most common) to USB mini B male (also very common), my taste is a little short, but it can be replaced by n 'Any cable connectors even greater length but this is what I did.
* Loads of adapters:
- Cigarette lighter version: The cigarette lighter plug is of good quality, the tabs system that make contact on the sides are a bit beefier which imposes a first insertion to become familiar with this requirement, allowing any time to ensure excellent maintained in the cigarette lighter, it's a good point! There are two USB terminals Output, 2.1A and in the other it allows charging 1A with the base but also to supply another USB device, why another charger?
- The pull-out Version: The 220V comes with two adapters, a French pullout type and the other UK (I think), which allows to prevail eventually traveling. The space-saving pull-out terminal that way, and whose plastic seems a little feeble, also two outputs, a 2.1A and 1A in another, allowing you to plug in here for another USB device that one load via the base.
- Batteries: Batteries seem consistent, they fit perfectly in a GoPro Hero 4, and today (after 4 uses each) do not seem to give a sign of weakness. For this aspect, it will allow 6 months of use before you judge!
In short, for the price the pack is comprehensive, practical, we are not on a GoPro quality finish or a tenor in the electronics market, once all this charging kit and its batteries are well positioned in value for money and I recommend them for routine use.
