What stands out in comparison to my K530 immediately course, is the elegant and practical slider design, which is why I bought the phone also. The speakers are (for a mobile phone) good, but this is not surprising in the W-series. The supplied earphones are unfortunately only average, the camera is pretty bad. Succeeded as always the menu structure and the operation in general.
What strikes me annoying in daily operation: The device is slow. Compared to my old cell phones from SE it reacts slowly to inputs, which is noticeable especially when searching in Contacts. The latest firmware does not help here. What also is a little confused the assignment of the keys, so lacking as the fond back button. It can not adapt all assignments, which means that there are two buttons on the main screen, leading to the Walkman menu, but none that opens the browser. Moreover, it is still impossible to create links directly to programs. Overall, the operation is intuitive and but you get used quickly to the new features.
The supplied software is downloadable or SE-typical good and extensive, without being too cluttered. Synchronization with Outlook works fine, as well as transfer music or pictures (which also works without the software - the phone logs on as a media device in Windows). Unfortunately I did not manage to install the MediaGo software, so I can not say anything about it. That is why the assessment of SenseMe function must remain sidelined - but the Shake Control makes an immature impression it detects motion not reliable enough.
In summary, one can say that the W595 is a good phone, but that is too slow given the price. It also offers some interesting features (Shake Control, SenseMe etc.) that are not fully developed in my opinion, but leaves it useful functions (Wi-Fi, GPS) sidelined.
