When you first start light up briefly to check every character in the LCD on.
Available is a visual display of the signal strength (3 bar) to the USB receiver, a time display for presentation time (No time) and a bar graph for the remaining time as well as a battery indicator (3 bars). The minimum time setting is one minute, the maximum is 9 hours and 59 minutes. They can be changed in each case in one-minute increments, with prolonged button to skip getting a few minutes.
Below the LCD there are 4 buttons. the top button is used to activate the laser pointer (green). This has a good range and is easy to recognize.
Among these 2 buttons for back and forth jumping located within the presentation.
At the bottom left is the start button for the presentation and on the right a button with which it is possible a black screen to show, for example, for explanation and question period or at the end of the presentation in order to hide embarrassing wallpaper depending on the program ^^
Outside the left is the sliding power switch, which is strangely turned on "backwards". Who has tried it, know how strange that feels ^^
On the other hand, the time adjustment button and the Play / Pause button for the timer.
At the lower end is inserted in the Presenter USB Dongle. This is a good solution and minimizes the risk of losing him.
At the rear there is the battery compartment which holds 2 AAA batteries side by side. The lid is securely closed while in a closed state, unfortunately, he rattles something and has game. Klemmt you some foam behind the problem is resolved, but at a Presenter for 60 should not happen like that.
I use the device with a 2013 Mac Book, Mac OS X 10.8.4 and Mac Office 2011. After plugging in the USB dongle that was immediately recognized and the operation went smoothly.
