First the positive:
- The printed image is very good for a color laser printer.
- Scan quality is fine
- Additional paper tray is easily recognized
Negatives:
- The touch control is annoying! When scrolling you have to be very careful that you do not, for example, the directly adjacent "Confirm" button pressed. Basically, the touch panel may simply be better divided and respond reliably, then the matter would be in order.
- Without a computer the printer is only half as good! The full scan resolution of 1200dpi can only genutz For example, if the scan from the computer is started. A scan on USB flash drive or to a folder on the network from the printer allows for minimal settings and not the full scan resolution.
- Scan to E-mail could not be established. We have, together with our IT specialists (the anyway was right there) tried everything and do not get it. Perhaps there is some way still should get the whole, we have not found it in any case. Perhaps just a driver issue - at some point we gave up in any case and set the scan to a network folder.
Conclusion:
If the print quality would not be so modest, I would once again bought the Brother MFC-9460 CDN. This is in many details, especially in the operation, better thought out than the HP.
The print quality is definitely in my eyes the outstanding feature of the HP printer. The remaining functions are disappointing in comparison.
