Unlike the reviews I've read, I'm happy with this multimedia hard drive (1TB): - Fan noise is really not very inconvenient - No problem of interference with other devices - Intuitive menu navigation (in French of course) and fast enough - Recording functions and recording schedule that work perfectly (can be programmed his device for recording and extinguish it turns on again by itself, records the program and re-off by itself!) - Reading many map formats, USB keys ... The only small problem I have with that is I do not read files in .mp4 format. Note also that it is better to buy off a RCA / SCART IN / OUT cable in addition to the one provided to record programs from the decoder (numéricable in my case) without having to undo unceasingly its branches, that is to say that one can read files on its TV and record without touching the connections behind his hard drive. Final note: when recording, the Memup creates files with a maximum size of 4 GB (and thus split large files), one can notice a slight delay when the hard drive goes from one file to another during playback of recorded movies.
