Good product 3821

I ordered this switch to replace my old switch Plantronics which began to die (~ 10yrs) must touch etc .... so for now it works well, no parasite either in headphone level or microphone, I do not serve me out of the HP dual jack to output the sound card allows me to switch off the microphone and headset when I serve from my 5.1.

I am not used to the volume knob I change the volume to the keyboard so I do not comment on my quality / robustness but the overall product quality is satisfactory.

Only downside the attachment system provided dual scratch which I think is effective as long as the switch is installed on a horizontal surface that is not my case, I usually set the vertical on a the side of the desk, jack down to the jack mic / headset will not force. So the system provided did not allow a good fixing to the vertical so I replaced with double beefy face :)

To sum up:

+ Overall quality good product
+ No noise on the microphone and headphone outputs
+ Sufficiently long cords (~ 2m)

+/- Dual Velcro fastening system provided (good thing) but not effective if set at the vertical
