Although that bought repackaged the product and its packaging was quickly received in good condition. I intend this to backup my synology I just spent February to March TB (Raid 1) and the external box used to date is only equipped with 2 TB. Also I want to recycle my old records 2TB that are in perfect condition. Once received, I team this case two disks formatted in NTFS and one in EXT4. I read the documentation is in English. On the front page it is stated the available languages that refers each to a specific address. (DE, FR, ES, IT, NL, PT) I use the French (fr.startech.com) and I quickly found that it is only the specification sheet available. So back to the English documentation. I translate this one with googueule to support me. I wish a Raid 0 and I put the selector striping. I am the process and I get two separate drives instead of a single volume. After two attempts, I decided to reformat both drives on another box to NTFS. I am again the process and there eureka RAID 0 is operational with one volume of 3.63 TB. I installed 3 USB with my synology. I actually backing up and I find that it is done very quickly compared to the previous USB housing 2 and the result is good. For automatic backup against the days following crashes by partially blocking the synology. After putting standby external devices to stop the problem is solved. This case therefore does not support standby with synology unlike my old box. As already given notice before I find well-designed housing but there is play in the assembly of disks and blue LEDs are quite dazzling. The sound is more present than with synology but not too. In summary a box at good value that deserves a better documentation and actually made available in French. I recommend this product.
