good product but with some advanced features ...

Switch quite interesting for advanced use, with no option evil, including VLAN establishment that allowed me to separate my network 2 only by creating rules on the switch. One downside: contrary to what says the poster presentation product delivered with the product, it does not link aggregation which would have allowed me to increase my speed to my NAS (which has 2 ethernet ports ).
Contrary to what we read in other reviews the latest firmware versions are used to manage an admin password transmitted encrypted on the network (and yes, that is the subject of the last update ,. .. which speaks volumes about the low level of product safety [before the password was sent in clear over the network]). To know that this switch will not warn you in case of attack by brute force.
The configuration software is proprietary software Netgear (no web interface) that only runs on Windows and which unfortunately suffers from a little problem: it conflicts with ICS Service (Internet Connection Sharing Service). Unable to connect to the switch when ICS is running!
Voila, so a small switch still powerful for the price (because it is relative) but actually to book for use at home, behind a good firewall ...
