have a BenQ TH680 (mechanically identical as far as I know the TH681) bought me last week this ceiling mount projector (which only 3, instead of 4 mounting points has). Construction and assembly problems. Since I have a wooden ceiling, I could not use the supplied installation material; but for those who are technically not completely untalented, which should be no problem. The opening provided, for coming out of the ceiling cable, I could not use because I habe.Aber placed no cable in this because already mentioned wood-sand blanket on a spontaneous glance I could imagine that you here with all cable types ( except HDMI / current; eg DVI or so)) space problems gets (sooo big the hole is not). But that's nur'n thought at the edge; as I said it, I did not use. Therefore everything Prima.
Due to the low price of the bracket, there are a few weaknesses in the fine adjustment of the projector position - especially the lateral inclination - since no ball joint, but in all 3 dimensions screws used (Note .: Beamer was aligned on the canvas, not vice versa ). With a little patience and spit you get the point but. For the price but you can not deduct any point here for that would not be justified.
A tip from me:
Power before installation carefully NEN head as your projector lens in the lateral relation to the projector and so then is centered to the screen you - apart from the rest thought the ideal distance from the screen, etc. I had, (of course, my own fault) when measuring the Forgot mounting position that the lens is centered on not at all Beamer (but a little offset to the right). Here then readjust again has fortunately just how it works and might well have to go in the pants; the holding arms are now a bit "funny" mounted, but it holds and I did not have to re-tighten.
Overall, a recommendation to buy, if you for some money wants to bring the projector to the ceiling!
