The attachment of the film is described in detail using a few pictures and reads quite easily, in practice, this looks different. The film is to be peeled from a paper with the cut-outs for camera, home button, etc. are to be removed. This proved to be quite tricky, as they were rather than to separate from the film easily peeled from the paper with. The gaps are quite small, so that I could remove them only by using a pointed object, which I could hardly avoid betatschen both sides of the film.
Now the sticky side should be generously sprinkled with the liquid from the vial. Attention! That's a pretty wet affair, so best keep ready a towel.
The wet film should now be applied to the display. Here, the liquid thus proved in no way helpful, because they neither helped the display and foil to protect it from contaminants (despite clean working environment, washed hands and so there were some specks of dust under the film), still allowing a subsequent adjustment, as I would have expected. If the foil is applied you have to push out the bubbles created by the map and clean the screen with the cloth. Smaller bubbles will disappear within 1 week of its own accord, according to instructions.
The film itself feels different than conventional films. No thin plastic film, but rather rubbery, almost the consistency of gelatin comparable. This let them deform easily what. With me, when you remove the film from the paper, the triggered one or another shock moment
On the display it fits perfectly, but they significantly worsened the image quality. It seemed to me as if you look through a thin oil film on the display, which obscures the usually very sharp and clear display of the S5 and distorted.
The handling is impaired. The fingers can become difficult to slide over the touch screen and inputs are not detected immediately. It's like as if you swipe over a thin, uninflated balloon skin.
UPDATE:
(After 1 week)
After 1 week of average use, the film makes some of the initial shortcomings up for it. The remaining smaller bubbles are almost completely gone, and the operation has improved significantly. Also I have a feeling these gummy and soft film that seems to be relatively insensitive to scratches; there are rather small dents from that one hardly noticed and gradually disappear again (as long as they are not too deep). Only and alone and the image quality remains at the poor level of the beginning.
