Operate the hard drive for PVR-purposes to a satellite receiver (Comag SL90 HD).
The drive is fast enough for all applications (Timeshift, simultaneous recording and playback of a second recording, etc.), the power consumption obviously frugal (requires no external power supply or Y-USB adapter), virtually inaudible and visually quite appealing (glossy black, fits for piano lacquer finish my LCDs).
The included USB cable (USB to micro-USB) is about 30cm long.
I would buy again at any time.
