This is my second Sirui Tripod (still have the T-2204x) and I was not disappointed again. The build quality is great, the ball head a dream; Siriu-Typical no "slipping", everything budge. The T-2204x has screw caps, this folding closures here. It's a matter of taste, which is a rather. Personally, I find Screw "beautiful"; But both solutions are easy to use and hold bombproof. I have this time but deliberately a tripod with snap fasteners brought since I last holiday in the wet sand - have photographed and then unfortunately had with the T-2204x the pitch 1 1/2 hours - partly with shaft contact. Background: the whole wet sand has taken root in the lower segments; also in the screw threads. Therefore, I have taken apart the entire tripod, cleaned and reassembled. I hope that I will be spared in the next holiday with the snap fasteners of this ET-1004.
