The description says that you do not have to remove from the case or the case, the source device to connect the cable - this is not true, at least for an iPad Air 2 and original Apple Smart Case: the plug can still join because the sleeve the headphone jack too concentrated. Too bad, because otherwise an excellent processing and secure a high-quality cable - just not suitable for the intended purpose!
