In short: the music industry (and probably Strippenzieherin Courtney Love herself) trying the myth NIRVANA profitably again to bring to the man.
But this, and that's the sad thing for connoisseurs, with one of the most ironic concerts Cobain. Anyone familiar with the history of Cobain's alleged death and the impending cancellation of Reading concert and know that Cobain's wheelchair action should be a broadside at his critics, how alive he still had but who will feel in many songs listlessness and Anwiderung Cobain's. (See alone "Teen Spirit", "Love Buzz" - okay, he liked "Teen Spirit" already but never so listless and demotivated deliberately singing and playing - Exception class)
So this concert is not NIRVANA at the zenith of the band, nor Cobain at its maximum. It is sad that instead of truly legendary appearance on MTV Live'n Loud in Seattle during the 1993, In Utero tour, in which for years only the stripped-down version 8 song is available in meager bootleg quality and NEVER the complete show will be shown has to serve the poor and listless Reading Festival. The MTV Live'n Loud was a complete concert (with more than 15 songs), no half-hour MTV format cutting out, and therefore without a doubt the zenith of the band NIRVANA. Below the concert at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle in 1991, the Club Paradiso concert Amsterdam and the Unplugged in NYC.
Kenner would appreciate concerts more ... this is indeed here for the collector and the fan a must if the great quality but in spite of everything not the truth about the live performance strength of this band.
