The Perixx like it visually very good - futuristic, but not overloaded. I do not need 100 Special keys and similar stuff. For me it was primarily concerned with the lighting. I feel very good - not too bright, and above all fairly evenly. At least the main keys are well-lit. The middle block (pressure rollers, Delete, arrow pad, etc.) is slightly weaker illuminated, as the numeric keypad. But both I also need rare. One also sees that here fewer LEDs were installed. The main block is not under each key, an LED, with the other two blocks.
The multimedia keys are not illuminated, which is illogical. Specifically, the buttons for Play / Pause, Stop, Next, Previous, Volume Up, Volume Down, and Mute. These keys function with the VLC Player and the Windows Media Player, but unfortunately not with Winamp.
In addition to these multimedia keys, there is one for the LED lighting. Here you can choose between blue, red and (more or less - is more into Pink) pink lighting switch, and turn off the lights completely. Unfortunately, the keyboard does not notice the setting, so that you will blue lights every time the computer - no matter what you had previously set. Even if it was switched off, it automatically goes back to, and will remain such. As in standby mode the computer on. Anyone who wants to turn off the lights permanently, the dimmer must rotate all the way down. And that would be the last "modifier key" on the keyboard: The Dimmregler. Turning can darken or lighten the complete LED lighting. I always leave on full brightness since that is exactly right for me.
Tap leaves it soft as butter on this keyboard. I type with 10 fingers, and very quickly (approximately 400 strokes / min.), And have no problems to take the keys. Even pressure point and stroke length are perfect. The keys are all in normal size, so that you do not make a mistake.
The additionally attachable palm rest, although I have put off, but do not use them. The keyboard looks with but better, I think. There are three settings in the edition - it will change the distance between pad and keyboard.
The angle of the keyboard can be adjusted in 2 stages, I have chosen the higher, which is exactly ideal for me.
Incidentally, you need no drivers for this keyboard. Both lighting and multimedia keys work (at least on Windows) immediately after connection.
All in all, you get a high quality keyboard with good lighting. The multimedia buttons do not interest me personally, but maybe a nice gimmick for other users. The fact that you can here the lighting has saved itself, and that the keyboard is the setting of the illumination does not notice results in a star deduction. In this price range you could already expect that the keyboard has a "memory" has, and not after each boot time again have to adjust everything. This is not a big deal, but it's just comfortable.
