The 'problem' but this was not solely the holder, but also the chosen of LG 'wall mounting system', because this system consists of a fairly compact metal part for mounting on the wall, in which the Soundbar then hooked over 2 Kunststoffzapen at the rear side and is backed up by move. Fixed on a wall screwed certainly a nice and compact solution, but in the assembly using the soundbar mounting on TV it was rather suboptimal, since the metal part is too short, and the holes for the screws thus closely juxtaposed to the soundbar as possible with no visible gap to hang under the TV.
The central focus was a bit fiddly as the Soundbar leaves by the chosen security against shifting in the horizontal move good 2 cm.
With a little patience and a cordless drill for drilling the holes at the LG wall mount (goods that come with the mounting screws, which inserts also nuts, unfortunately too small), the Soundbar but lies securely attached to television and also the gap between the two devices was not as big as initially feared with about 2 cm at the end.
Overall I would give the holder 4 points, one I pull off, because it is not just 'universal'. For flexible mounting of the LG system it would still be a third set of slots on the long legs of the bracket, so that a flush mounting could ensure.
