It is clear that this player has big advantages: quality of his first (of course with good headphones); small footprint; capacity (+ extension μ-SD); good build quality; handy clip; radio and very satisfactory recorder.

Autonomy, for against, is really rather weak (4-5 hours max).
I would have preferred a thousand times alim battery R3, like my late Creative Zen Nano Plus, yet with barely larger (10 mm more in length, that is). It was enough to have with me some batteries (or rechargeable batteries) for an unlimited autonomy.
Given the autonomy, the 2GB model is more than enough! Either way, you also have micro SD expansion.
In addition, there are aberrations in the feed. Example: I put in charge when it still has around 30%. Sometimes after three or four hours of charging, I found zero, completely empty !!

But what infuriates me most (my perspective) is ergonomics menus! After 8 months of intensive use due to a long hospital stay, I'm still not used to it.
It's a real hodgepodge, cluttered with useless and redundant sections, such as: Artists, Albums, Songs, Genres, Favorites, Playlists, Recently Added, read everything, Rate Song, Add this song to the list, and j 'on. Unable to escape, they are everywhere.
Another example: to return to previous menu, it is sometimes the up key, sometimes left, sometimes down, as appropriate! Sometimes it's impossible, you are returned to the root of the tree.
A unique file folders that organize themselves would, in my opinion, infinitely more practical.
Not to mention that all my files are dressed the term "song": classical music, podcasts of programs, everything.
