FM radio with 10 presets directly accessible, that's what I wanted first. The pleasant surprise is that the sound is pleasant, a selector improves the treble. (Or filter, giving the illusion of having more serious, which is misleading, the bass is not not amplified, moreover, with this diameter of HP, not serious, of course). The lyrics are understandable, no resonances. The reception has a "dx" mode selector (or "local") that captures all stations in the region with excellent selectivity (no big station "drool" over less powerful). A power supply is provided by external transformer. (Otherwise it is 4 AA (LR6) batteries) Time display when radio off. (Frequency display if radio function). Other various functions that I do not use.
In summary, a quality radio that lets you quickly choose which of 10 preset stations you want to listen with a suitable sound in relation to the size of the unit.
