What Bose does not reveal in the product description is that the Companion 2 Series III speakers are equipped only with a midrange speaker with 60 mm diameter and a bass reflex tube, give information on the performance you're looking at Bose vain. The Teufel speakers have a woofer (100 mm) and a tweeter (25mm). The product photos I have set two comparison photos of the two speaker systems.
The compact Bose speakers convince with their simple design and a good workmanship. Depending on the setting of the volume control, the speaker noise easily, but in everyday life for me not disturbing. The noise is significantly more pronounced in the Devil Laustprechern. For the size of the speakers, the sound of both systems is impressive. Despite the one-way system and the much more compact dimensions the Bose speakers can keep up with the two-way speakers from hell, even if me the sound of hell minimally balanced and clearly displayed.
From the equipment of loudspeakers Bose offers compared to hell an additional audio Eingagang, but it lacks at Bose a microphone input, a Power LED and a sound controller. A small disadvantage at Bose is that the audio inputs are slightly recessed so that man can not connect jack cable with thick plugs.
Overall, I would recommend the Bose Companion 2 Series III despite the slight limitations described and the relatively high price.
