The two mills are odorless and make a solid impression. Especially the plastic feels when grinding very good, not too rough and not too smooth.
One mill I have filled with colored pepper and the other with an Italian seasoning with dried garlic slices.
With peppercorns, the mill has no problem and the setting of coarse to fine works very well.
On my old mill the problem was that the spices were ground allspice first and the garlic slices remained until the end left, as the opening or the grinder was too small. This is not the case for this mill. The spices and the garlic are ground uniformly.
The grinding capacity I am very satisfied. However, I have to deduct a star for aesthetic reasons.
The glass of the mills is very cheap and has a kind of weld, which extends from the floor on the side facing up. This reduces the otherwise high-quality impression.
