Once the technical side:
-------------------------------------
The Odys Space is well used in construction, compact tablet. It fits comfortably in your hand and not looks cheap.
Unfortunately, the screen reflects something. That interpretation can be enhanced by the brightness, depending on space, counteracting well.
The touch screen is well built. He responded well and is multi-touch capable, so you can use the typical larger / smaller gestures.
The manufacturer seems to have not saved here.
The processor is 800MHz, although somewhat slower compared to today's tablets, in my daily life tests, I realize the terrible.
Only in graphically very complex applications, it falls on.
In many forums I've read that the Space with older wireless routers / APs sometimes has problems. The tablet itself can only b / g standard, but comes with routers, which may also n / n-draft, clearly. I tested the Odys Space on multiple routers or APs:
By following APs or routers it worked:
Linksys E1500, Linksys E2000, TP Link TL-WR740N, several Cisco Access Points, Fritz! Box 6360 Cable, Netgear FWG114P
Only with the D-Link DI-624 +, it has not worked. But he had such a D-Link eigensolution to speed up the WLAN to 108Mbit / s.
I suppose that there are exactly these deviations from the standards, the manufacturer had made in the early days of the WLAN technology, which cause problems when Space.
The UMTS module is working properly. You can make calls and texting on the tablet also.
Included is a headset. The sound is good if you use the headset. No annoying noise or something else.
If you plug a normal headphones, the sound is distorted sounds and you hear a hum.
Apparently the tablet has no sensor that detects whether a headset or headphone is plugged (This of course costs money)
and the normal headphone plug is then, also on the Mikrofonpin.
If you really want to connect a headset, which can fix with an adapter (I habs not yet tried, according to comment of another Amazon customer does the trick):
; Qid = 1328795510 & sr = 8-1
; Qid = 1328795536 & sr = 8-14
To give an idea of what I'm doing with my tablet so, here's a small list:
---------------------------
Email & Exchange runs fine - my mail, contacts and calendar are synchronized properly
Sparkassen app works just fine
Browser runs fast - the presentation is good - only in some Flash applications it shows here the 800 Mhz processor
Youtube app runs - HD videos are well played
Angry Birds runs - jerky sometimes at great levels and is something I probably know this crashed when too many apps running at the same time, here you can see that the processor has only 800 Mhz
The Android Market is installed but hidden. Me a trick you can use the Market but:
I have downloaded and installed the latest version of the Markets (Searches on Google for "Android Market APK") via the browser of your tablet.
Then I put my link on the home screen, because this does not disappear after a restart from the menu.
The Market can use wonderful and are operating properly.
In order to evaluate
-------------------
The manufacturer has chosen the tablet a good strategy to produce a good, low-priced tablet.
Since wireless router does in older problems and the market is not in stock, there is a star deduction.
My recommendation: For standard users, beginners and bargain hunters the perfect tablet.
