The Iconia W3 is basically exactly what I expected. Quasi an almost full-fledged tablet PC (and not a tablet) with good workmanship and at that affordable price.
With an 8-inch tablet with Windows, you should know that the work can be very nerve-racking just use your fingers naturally. With a pen, however, it works beautifully.
When unpacking it shows the good workmanship. The Iconia is pretty well in hand. However, the arrangements of the speakers have been optimized only for vertical use. For the Off / On switch a little feedback would be appropriate if you have the tablet really quite off.
The tablet comes with a USB adapter for the Micro-USB port, so you also can connect an external hard drive or a DVD drive without having to buy something for example.
When displaying HD video no jerkiness and the display there are the video with rich colors resist.
But only when you hold the tablet at the right distance exactly perpendicular to her eyes.
Even the slightest deviation there is something similar to a polarization effect and the colors are distorted. With only a very limited viewing angle one could possibly still be alive. But not if already immediately appears this color effect.
In general, (especially an 8-inch device) is a Tablet constantly on the move, because it is considered generally in the hands. Since even a reasonable display should be installed.
Although I have read the corresponding reviews, but wanted to convince myself. We have all heard various reviews that are often greatly exaggerated. Here I would but should not listen to those who have the display described as well. Unfortunately.
Although I am satisfied with the device on the whole (have also successfully on Windows 8.1 updated) I can forgive a total of only 2 stars. The display is truly the Ostensible in a tablet.
