Buy to replace a 5400 / towers which was also the 500gb laptop.
After handing my Windows and all my data, for my part I found that opening my Windows was faster and the files (videos style or spreadsheet files with link).
Now I can not give an opinion on the lifespan, it is too early, but already knew the brand I've never been disappointed.
