I have now bought 4 of these travel adapters. Unfortunately, I have personally caught the copy that did not work at a trip to Canada. It was a mechanical problem. The contact spring when American plug was pressed incorrectly. That should have noticed during the final inspection. So one should try by electrically immediately after purchase all adapter plug, which is certainly not easy to perform. The control LED is not very bright.
