I bought the USB dongle for Menen BeagleBone Black to extend the single USB port for keyboard, mouse and flash drive.
The BeagleBone is then supplied via a mini-USB port.
Everything goes smoothly without any external power supply is needed. Neither for the stroke (is powered by the BBB) even for the BBB itself (is only supplied through the mini-USB port on my PC).
Even under full load, so all three USB ports and Ethernet port are fully utilized, no heat generation at the BBB is noted.
The stroke I can only recommend.
