Processing:
The notebook looks well made and sturdy. For normal use, I think that should be enough there.
Screen:
Nice big screen.
Compatibility:
Windows 7 ran to install properly. All drivers were easy to find on the page.
Performance:
I realize that you can not expect much for the price, so I would say the price according to good performance. While it is all a bit sluggish and partly slow, but perfectly adequate for internet and office. If the programs are started by it also runs fast here. (My tip then use Linux should be really fast)
Operation:
Keyboard in order. CD-key bit fiddly. Properly nerfig but the touchpad used (One reason for the point deduction). Mouse läst se well serve only if you want to click the mouse often jumps, because the buttons are sensitive surface. (My tip: You could use some help Tesa above the keys so that no movement register)
Connections:
Basically all there important. Only USB ports are very economical and bad placment. All three are located on the left side, making it difficult to connect the mouse and USB stick for right. (Another reason for point deduction)
Conclusion:
Good device for people who do not expect much. Good value I would say top. Unfortunately, some disturbing details that could be made better with little effort from Asus.
