Since we have very little space for the striking plate on the right side, we wanted to solve this with a wall anchor. For example, the solution ISEO liked not so good. Here you would have to punch out a slot for the tank bolt lock in the wall. On a stainless steel plate with two anchors 6'er would then have been secured. This would not only look ugly and dirty but also the security and stability that should satisfy just the striking plate in a PR is missing.
When ABUS wall anchoring this looks much more stable.
The WV is a mounting plate for dowel holes 2x10'er, 2x6'er dowel holes (mainly for fixing the panel) and 2x 16mm holes for the bolts supplied. Also heard a white plastic cover to which is mounted by fixing the metal plate and a Bolzenendstück for the reinforced bolt. The tail is then simply screwed in PR. The screw in the PR is dissolved, put the existing item out and replaced by the bolt element.
Even though I was (before ordering) sketptisch very beginning, if a screw is to keep this element so I'm after a closer look now but very certain that the concept works so.
Installation:
Very easy! Element in the PR as described above to exchange (screw tighten until nothing wobbles!). Then the PR close to the bolts on the wall press. Mark the positions on the wall. Then the bolt slide back again and continue the WV-plate to the wall with the markings. Now even balance with a spirit level and the remaining drill holes above and below the bolt marks.
Then the plate is screwed with the supplied dowels of PR2700. Here 6'er anchors are set initially at top and bottom. This serves to fix primarily to the plate to the wall.
After wall mounting is then the large plugs drilled up and down through the plate with a 10'er masonry bit so (12cm - contain the PR2700) can be used. Simply push the dowels through the plate in the Böhr holes.
In the description of PR is that you should use a 18cm drill at least. However, it is drilled a hole with 14cm deep. Therefore, one must not necessarily an extremely long drill buy only the depth of 14cm should be adhered to.
Then drill Finally the bolt holes also through the plate with a 16cm masonry bit. So deep that fit in the bolt.
After that the white Plastiabdeckung can be placed.
One thing I have to complain about, we decided for a brown tank bolt. Unfortunately, there is the wall anchor only in white. If there had been in this brown, it would TOP!
Conclusion:
In effect, the WV looks very nice and not necessarily too flashy. Straight through the Plastikabedeckung the conclusion is fairly decent (better than the ISEO, I think).
