So for me, Atlas is a damn genius album! PWD do it again to connect melody with brutality and not to sound boring. The board is extremely varied - it starts eg similar to Deep Blue with a quiet opener ("Sparks"), which then from the half about crass collapses and space for the crusher "Old Ghost / New Regrets" makes. In the course of the album is melodic, breakdowns, a DJ-Partenkirchen, Women's backing vocals, strings, trumpet and acoustic guitars play perfectly in the hands - showing how varied PWD anno 2012 their metalcore spells (The individual listed elements are partially only in individual, not be heard in all songs). Live pop songs by the way just like the old classics !!!
The album sounds really clean production and "border" (to be so I'll call it careful not blamed in the hope) not as Deep Blue (which is still a brilliant album !!!!!).
Conclusion: PWD have once again done everything right and cut out with Atlas one of the richest metalcore albums in 2012. It needs something to ignite, but it pops more so !!!!
Oh by the way, the bonus DVD is really awesome !!! It is a very extensive, exciting, funny, colorful, super successful, dynamic documentary about PWD's Deep Blue World Tour. Who found the DVD to Horizons quite cool, will definitely rejoice here !!
