Customer Review

There are albums that tear a first from the stool and the latest in the third run, the initial enthusiasm fades. There are albums that initially seem unsophisticated and little able to develop over time, however, the perennial favorite. And there are albums such as 1210 by Kool DJ GQ. Manageable in scope (10 tracks + 3 remixes), it enjoys today no longer everyday quality that finds himself in almost every track. Instead of individual highlights is set to a rounded impression, which excludes categorically blunders. For this purpose, Quality Control as Dendemann, Olli Banjo, Plan B, Tone and Inflabluntahz, the audible delight this had to edit the always very relaxed, but never boring instrumentals join. The tasteful State Of Mind with Fran Kstas vocal organ, the downright wonderful 93Till end man, Soul Brother Flo Mega with veteran Aphroe write a poem in T9 and grab the like taken on Internet Love and with Lorro One including Jakebeatz there finest dialect rap from the Switzerland.

Sounds very splendid, sounds and so, and exudes an air of timelessness, as you just occasionally found him again in older releases. So what you should say big negative about 1210? Now, the three remixes at the end of the album fail to tap the originals something come on in any way to GQ's productions and tarnish the otherwise impeccable impression somewhat. Maybe you like the album accuse missing Pepp which however was here you would argue deliberately exchanged for delicate handling of words and sounds. And who looks thick synth boards who found this at GQ has always been in vain. Rap for the old guard and lover. Great.
