I have the Sony HX 400V for several weeks. SLR cameras with multiple lenses I had and wanted to not do that again. These cameras are designed for professionals who also have to earn their money. Just as the high financial cost can be justified, if you want to have good equipment. For an "amateur" is such a thing would not be worthwhile unless prestige reasons play a role. So I have to 2 Super zoom Kodak and Sony (Sony HX1) again for a superzoom (Bridge Camera) decided. Especially with the Sony HX 1, I used about 4 years, I was very well satisfied. But each camera comes times "in the year". So I have decided after long searches for Sony Cybershot HX 400V. It's really fun to deal with this camera, you have to learn properly if you shoot not only in automatic mode. However, the automatic mode is also very good and the zoom is unique. The results are great and can also be found in the art appreciation. I will not go into technical details, as these have been described in detail here in the forum. The viewfinder is poorly done, surprises me. One sees everything and is well informed. I photograph mostly using the viewfinder. I can only recommend this camera for the advanced amateur.
