The pros:
- Compact and aesthetic, original on a desk
- Perceived quality good
- Very solid materials
- Cable thick and strong too, secured and good length (1, 5 m)
- Can be positioned anywhere with the adhesive base (below where the edge of a desktop for example)
- USB sockets at full load so fast (2.1 A)
(Beware it's not a USB hub, no connection with a PC)
- Base to fix with 2 very sticky adhesive tabs and do not damage the office
The -:
- Doubtful finish in dimensions (see below)
- A little hard Outlets
- Loss of grip when on the base
- Non-reusable adhesive tabs as shown (above pulling and stretch like chewing gum and are destroyed, it will buy back large double-sided Scotch type Tesa GSM)
No heating problem or a whistle far as some other reviewers, but it does not surprise me too much that some have had faults, because even if the materials chosen are of good quality (hard plastic), I think that 'there are worries of manufacture.
Myself I had a problem on the base, it was almost impossible to attach the cube above (by the famous quarter turn clamp)
Indeed the slots in the cube were badly cut and forcing several times, the base was eventually re-machine the slots (I got a lot of gray plastic chips ...). For proof that plastics are extremely strong (I could easily break the stand but he resisted) but this kind of fault indicates a lack of quality monitoring at the production level (we feel that it is the Chinese. ..)
