It is very easy to implement and allow you to control these devices with your Android smartphone or iPhone or your PC.
To use it you will need a WiFi connection and a DC 5V power supply.
1) connect the wifi card on the relay card.
(Note 8 a relay card is not compatible with 16 relay card, so choose well your configuration initially and if in doubt, choose a "muscular" Control 16 relays)
2) connect the RJ45
3) feed the wifi card on DC 5V. Small screws have a special operation it is recommended to open the show to see a hole where you can put the son then screw then.
The polarity is indicated on the map = GND + 5V and ground phase.
4) Imatic card uses the static IP address 192.168.1.4
So you need to configure your router at 192.168.1.1
(Note still the old address if you have other devices that are set above,
eg server, nas, ip camera, etc ... On the other hand if you have ongoing downloads that may be cut off temporarily)
5) install on your smartphone Imatic the free application.
That's it!
You can test that everything is working by using the application, small red LED will light next to each relay.
You can now control everything from your smartphone:
- Indoor and outdoor lights
- Pool Lighting, filters, whirlpool
- Fans
- Garage door
- Automatic watering
- Aerator Aquarium
- Lifting and lowering shutters (allow 2 relays, one for up and one for down)
- Toaster
- Stereo
- Etc ...
Be warned however, for connections if you are not familiar with high voltage lélectricité, call an electrician.
To you the pleasures of home automation ...
